According to the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department, the Business Registration Levy of HKD 150 will be reinstated starting from 1 April 2026. As a result, the official government fee for a 1-year Business Registration Certificate will increase from HKD 2,200 to HKD 2,350.
Therefore, we recommend that clients who are planning to establish a Hong Kong company complete the incorporation before 31 March 2026 to benefit from the current lower government fee.
